Below the cut you will find a complete list of the books I read in 2015. I would also include a complete list of the places I travelled in 2015, but goddamn, I am just too tired.

Happy new year!

Shortest day, Scotland

Shortest day.

A post shared by Jessica Gregson (@clotidian) on

On a train between Edinburgh and London on the shortest day of the year, and the sun has deigned to put in an appearance for once. Meanwhile I have been comforting myself with herbal tea, lots of wine and good food, and Glasgow’s seasonally-appropriate displays of light.

(The first time I visited Glasgow was late November or early December, nine years ago, and I fell in helpless love with the city under the lights in Royal Exchange Square. It’s not always the most sensible or practical place for me to live, but my love for it goes far beyond the rational.)
